Nat Breeden

Cinematographer. Photography. Storyteller.

I strive to create high quality cinematic video productions.  Specializing in everything from pre-production, on set experience behind the camera and directing. All the way through post production in editing and coloring.

I graduated from Columbia College Chicago in 2022 with a Bachelors Degree in Cinematography. During my time there I learned to operate, AC, DP, Gaff and more. Hopping from film set to film set learning everything I could. When I was not on set I was out touring the country with my band Photographing performances of live shows. Capturing the raw energy of small basements and DIY venues.

Since I've Graduated, I've toured with bands such as Equipment, Ben Quad, Snow Ellet, The Losing score and more. Documenting and photographing the touring experience. I've taken photos for Life Looks Good Debut album "Regression & Regret" as well as single art for several of Arcadia Grey's releases.

A long with my passion for live show photography, I also have a passion for story telling through Cinematography. I strive to create striking visuals that aid to the narrative of the project. Using lighting and camera movement to accentuate the story. I have worked as a DP for four years. Working on music videos for Arcadia Grey, Ben Quad, Sunday Cruise and more. As well as shot several ads for local restaurant D4 Irish Pub.

As an Artist I wear many hats. Striving to grow and learn within every area of my field and beyond. Knowing and understanding what a  film maker has at their disposal will only expand the possibilities of what I can create.
